When you have a chance tell us more about Roxy- what kind of pup? how old? why the amp?
Yes, the other front leg swelling happens. All the fluid the body generates after surgery has to go somewhere and down the leg is common. What is Roxy's activity level like? Keeping her quiet might help keep the swelling down.
Definitely talk with your vet about what you are seeing.
How is Roxy doing otherwise?

How long does drainage last? Our pup, Willow, is five days post amputation of rear leg. Just curious, I know drainage is normal.

Has anyone experienced fluid retention, specifically in leg and paw, post amputation? Roxy had her front leg amputated last Thursday, her other front paw is very swollen. I have a call into the vet too.
Yes, it has happened in other Tripawds. If you review these search results for edema you'll see their experiences.
I would love to hear more about Roxy too!

Roxy and Mama,
So glad to hear that she is progressing so well! Welcome, by the way. You just found the motherload of knowledge and experience that might make this scary experience not so bad. The people here are just the best! How is her appetite? Looking forward to hear more about your story (and pictures please).
