So last night, Stella barked and barked like crazy.  We had been keeping her downstairs on a foam mat in the kitchen since she came home Friday.

Well, apparently, she wanted to come upstairs and sleep in her normal spot.  She got upstairs fine, but I had to carry her back down this morning.

I am struggling to keep her from licking her wound - even with the inflatable cone and boxer shorts on (some how she gets them off) - but other than that, little miss sassy pants is acting like her normal self 1 week post amp!  Even trying to chase squirrels in the back yard!

Great news! Hoppy Ampuversary to you and Miss Sassy Pants!

I would ask your vet about putting an anti-itch topical on her incision. Microcyn is a good one.

Yay Tia and Stella!!

You are rocking this big time, happy ampuversary clap She is a beautiful little spitfire heartheart

You might want to try a cool compress here and there and see if a bit of moist coolness takes away the itch to get at it, it has helped some in here.

Keep up the good work, would be wonderful to see some pictures if you get a chance way-cool

Hugs,

We are continuing to make great progress.  She is up and down the stairs easily (without the cones, and yes, I did say cones 😉 someone is persistant) with only supervision.  Eating well and chasing squirrels and birds in the yard.

I came seem to figure out how to post pics on mobile, but we are doing well down in the balmy Houston weather!

Can't? Same as you would with a desktop browser. Copy the image URL of your photo and paste it in your post...Here are detailed instructions for adding photos to forum posts . If you don't already share photos online somewhere, you can start a free Tripawds blog any time and upload them there. Need further help? Post in the Tech Support forum and we'll be happy to help!

So good to hear from you!!  I am glad that mama is even more persistent winker It seems to be (or was for me at least) to learn the picture posting thing on a PC first. I graduated to cell and tavlet after I got the big screen down, was just a learning curve. With my Note, it is better now because I can open the 2 windows easier. Copy from one then paste in the forum. I save all my photos in my blog library and that makes life a lot easier to post them.
