Hey everybody heart

After recent really sad news about her lung mets up it comes Eurydice's 7th ampuversary !

Well, this certainly takes priority over sadness.

There will be a time to cry and a time to suffer beyond belief and a time to grieve ... but it's not today.

Not today.

I've considered placing this thread under Anything Goes but then I thought, hey, this is about Oncology (met lungs) and Recovery (incredible happiness and joy every day) it should be right here.

All I want is to share our delirious happiness with you all and hope me and Eurydice may perhaps inspire others on how we can overcome this nasty, awful, stupid disease by not surrendering to pain and sadness before the time has come.

We had such a beautiful, perfect day heart

It started with a birthday party for the one year old son of our lovely Spanish butcher, obviously Eurydice knows him by heart and he holds lost and lots of brownie points by providing the most scrumptious chicken legs ... no other friend of mine can match that !

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Sadly we could not go to the pawty because they live on a first floor apartment (no lift) and I  truly cannot negotiate stairs ...

The only downside of being a tripawd, for me.

Nevertheless, everybody came down to see me, Miguel, his two sons, his brother-in-law and his two young children ...

I felt really special all those humans would come out into the cold (it was freeeeeezing) just to give me a hug heart

Mom told me first thing in the morning that this was not a special day (as every day is around here) but a super hyper ultra extra special day as it is my 7th ampuversary, as you already know way-cool

So off we went to Richmond Park for a stroll big-blink

Have a very happy 7th ampuversary sweet Missy Cow. The look on the little boys face was sheer delight and that baby was obviously thrilled too. And it turns out that you, Missy Cow, are actually a bucking bronco. Yahoo!! laughingI'm sure many have make silly jokes, such are you a dog or a horse? Well, you can show they and be anything they want to you to be.

Have a happy day with your lovely Mama. Perhaps there will be a tasty treat??

Hugs and kitty cat cuddles,

Auntie Kerren, Eli, and Tripawd Kitty Mona heartheartheart

Well, I've known Mom for virtually my entire life and I know she does know how to throw a dawg pawty ...

so when she mentioned this day was a super duper day I could only expect Mom to go the extra mile ...

And the extra mile she went.

HOW good is that folks???
