im very sorry to hear that Spirit is having such a hard time. Im sorry I can’t add anything more but my best wishes. I think I have to agree with a few things that Holly mentioned and getting Spirit comfortable is the main thing and then you can both relax a little.
there is so much information and medications that i am not expereienced with. So asking your vet for clarity is going to be critical at this point.

The piece of crap disease has its own rules. You and Spirit gave it a good fight hold onto that ok! I cant type anything to make this any better I wish we could!

You did EVERYTHING possible. I'm just so very, very sorry Spirit needed to head to the Bridge. Know no one could have done more for Spirit. Spirit was loved every single second of every moment by your side.
It is a rotten, brutal, piece of crap disease that has so many ways to hide from the best that medical science has to offer.
Spirit and you shared thousands of ahppy moments and that's what you must remember. Mist the very fact that Spirit got to the "ripe" age of fifteen is a testament to your love and your care.
I have no words right now either. We are all so heartbroken for you. Please know that Spirit is free from pain now, feeling healthy and whole.
As Holly said, watch and listen for messages from Spirit. He will send them so pay attention.

Ohhhh my gosh I am really, really sorry to read this heartbreaking news. My condolences and love go out to you.
Please know you did all you could for Spirit, and that he left this world knowing how much he was loved. He was a lucky kitty to find his way to you, and vice versa. You got educated about his condition, you fought for him every step of the way and there's no animal who could ask for more. I have no doubt that he will come to you in some other form, to tell you that things are good where he is, and that you are an awesome pet parent. Your special bond will always be strong and beautiful, and never, ever fade.
