Let the dancing begin! Treats for everyone!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Great news!  It was probably a joke, but just in case, Metamusil is really tough on doggy tummies.  Instead, try canned pumpkin.  Works like a charm!

We're on Day 4 post amputation and Kelsey had a good pooper this AM.  She's on tramadol, so the opiate could be slowing her system, but she's been eating sweet potatoes which I think helped.

Keep us updated!

Last night Logan seemed really restless and uncomfortable...I wondered if he was in pain...none of us were sleeping, we were so worried, finally, at about 3:30 am we took him outside and he had the biggest poop I've ever seen! What a relief! For both of us! I hadn't even thought of that being the reason.
