The harness is already adjusted as narrow as it should be. But after a few seconds walking it looks like this:

That looks like a great stroller!  If you need to be able to fold it compactly in order to carry it up/down stairs at the train station in case the elevators are down, you might want to look for one more in this style: Pet Gear No-Zip Expedition Stroller.

One recent Tripawd, Kip, loves his stroller that seems similar to the one I linked above:

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com

The no zip expedition stroller is the one Brownie had and we loved it. But it will be a little heavy and large to carry.

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

I don't know if Leyla would jump in this. She even refuses to go on the scales at the vet. How comfortable is it to walk with this stroller for the whole way, even when the dog wants to walk?

Our stroller for Wyatt is very comfortable for us and him. If you are exceptionally tall you want to pay attention to the stroller height so that you don’t have to stoop down to push.

Some dogs take to being in a stroller right away and others need time and training to get used to it. If Leyla is comfortable in trains and elevators she will probably do ok.

You can take lots of sniff breaks with her if she wants to do lots of walking. Just have lots of treats with you to bribe her back into the stroller!

Griffin and I walk for 2 miles each morning and he rides in the wagon for about half of that trip.  I noticed in the videos of Leyla that she is walking off leash.  That makes it much easier to push a wagon/stroller while walking with her.  Griffin is off leash on our morning walks and I'm even able to drink my coffee while pushing the wagon with one hand while he walks (I need both hands to push him when he is riding in the wagon).  Jake's stroller in the video Nancy shared is one very popular option which is more enclosed for keeping pups inside.  The stroller that I shared via link is another popular option that can be much more open - more of a wheeled platform as can be seen in the Instagram video of Kip.  I think most pups eventually love their wheeled rides because they understand how it helps them to be outside in comfort.

What I liked about the Expedition stroller is when you unlock it you can fold the top all the way back.  So It is not like they are jumping into a hole.  But as I said, it is heavy to lug around.  It also has a front entrance, and a rear entrance.  Brownie could lay down in a curl position, or sit and put his head out.  Brownie was a large dog, and there was plenty of room for him.  If you decide to go with a stroller, and you may need to carry it, I think you may be happier with one that is lighter weight.  But it is a personal choice.

I just checked out Kip's video.  His stroller looks a little smaller then the one I had.  That style does come in three different sizes.  Or maybe it is the same, just the video is throwing me off.  lol.  You can see it on Amazon.

Can you give me some amazon Links of the recommended strollers?

Or maybe this one is ok? : https://www.zoo.....ger/196922

But it is really big. I can not carry it through my house-door (it is a double-sided door, both sides can be opened, but it is not easy to open and close it again). I would better have a stroller which can be folded easily.

Leyla always wants a stop after a few meters. Sometimes it seems as if she does not want to walk anymore. icon_cry

Others can help with the links.....I'm not very techie 🤪

When leyla "stops", is she sorting down like she's tired?   When she walks few minutes and then just stops, how long is she stopping?  What is she doing during this "stop".?

Soooo many dogs enjoy stopping here and there to jist stand and sniff the air.  Taking a little break after a few minutes to sniff arou d, or just rest a bit, is perfectly normal.

We humans forget sometimes  that the "walk" is FOR OUR DOGS......NOT FOR THE HUMANS.  .  Leyla walks at a fast pace, like a . of Tripawds.  It IS exhausting and she is very smart to want to stop and give her vody a chance to catch up.

I am so excited that you are working on getting a stroller.  I think that is the gest solution  for voth of you, but I understand  the challenge of getting the best one for your unique situation.

It sounds like, except for the walk    being the way you would like, she is doing really well and is a happy girl.  She, and. You, have come a long way in a short period of time.!  You've overcome a lot!  Give yourself  a pat on the back and give Leyla a treat and a late on her butt!!

Hugs

Ditto to what Sally said. Brownie was a SNIFFER! If we were at the park and I threw the ball he was just ignore me because he was too busy sniffing and exploring.

The expedition is a great stroller. Just check the weight to see if it would be too heavy. Use the Amazon link from this site and search Pet Gear Strollers. There are alot of options but I think you would want one that folds to carry up and down stairs. You might want to check out the gear blog. That's how I found Brownie's stroller. Besides the weight check to see what the dimensions are inside the stroller. You may not need the biggest one.

YOU have come such a long way from your first post! We are all so proud of Leyla and you!

smiley4  Thank you.

She sometimes stops every few meters. And I don't know what that is about. She sometimes did that with four legs also when she didn't like a path. But now I can't classify it anymore. If I walk on, she will run after me and at home she is not tired. But I wonder if walking on is good for her remaining front leg. On the other hand: If she has not enough walking, it is stress for her - she will scratch her face then until bleeding.
