Awww, Coop! Love that wagging tail in your video! You're doing pawsome!!!
Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Aww, it so cute watching their "helicopter tail" when they walk! Chloe still does this once in a while and it so funny! Glad Coop is getting the tripawd hop down!
Keep it up buddy!
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Just getting caught up on the latest with Coop. First of all I'm so happy to hear that he's doing so much better now. That must have been very scary for you. Your vet sounds very compassionate and bad things do just happen unfortunately. Your video - so adorable, especially with that tail wag in view. He seems to be managing quite well. So we will continue to keep our paws crossed for Cooper and soon this will all be behind you!
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Thanks everyone! Cooper is still on track as near as I can see. I will post more on his blog! but thanks everyone for well wishes and crossed paws!

Cooper is still doing good it looks like! He has been very peaceful and stronger. His incision site is looking way better and we are starting to feel more comfortable about his recovery. The infection was quite a scare to us, and I dont know about the rest of you but each scare just makes it harder for me to relax. I did see where someone had posted to the effect that when their dog is sleeping they actually checked to see if they are breathing, I dont remember who that was, I saw it when I had first found the site and had wanted to let them know, I was doing that before we even knew Coopers diagnosis.... - so whoever it was, it is probably a more common thing than you think. 🙂

OH! That's a great update! It's so good to hear he is doing well. It's gonna get much better and soon!

When in doubt...it was probably Cometdog! I didn't get to 1800+ posts for nothing! But here's the deal, I don't have a sick dog, I just think I do sometimes! But I'm glad I'm not alone!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Coopsdad, I have been checking Fortis' respiratory rate for some time. I think somewhere between 10 and 25 is normal resting rate for most breeds of dogs. But seriously though, you are way off from having to even consider doing this in my opinion. My boy has lung mets so it is a valuable tool that was suggested to me by a doctor on my blog. I know it's hard, but try to relax. Coops is a strong and brave boy and I'm so looking forward to hearing of all his adventures as a tripawd.
Fortis and I are sending lots of positive thoughts your way. I bet Coop is going to be just fine.
Fortis'Dad
Awww Fortis - daddy is such a good daddy!
Coop's dad,
I changed the topic title - so don't be confused. Every time I look at the title on the fly, I keep thinking, "oh no, is cooper back at the clinic!".

Don't feel too silly if you couldn't figure that one out! It is a power held by the Mod Pawd.
