{{{{{hugs}}}}}

Karma, I'm so sorry, I know that news hurts. I was really hoping there was a better answer.

Day by day, even at times like this, is all any of us can do. Give her a big hug from us and remember we are here for you.

P.S. You might want to ask your vet if bisphosphonates can help in this situation. I'm not sure but it's worth asking.

I'm sorry about your news. I am late to this thread and I was hoping for better news after your first post.
I hope the meds give you some more quality time. Treasure each moment.

Karma, this sucks.  I'm so sorry to hear it.  Sending good thoughts to Brendol, you, and the rest of your pack.  I hope that the new regimen provides some relief!!

I've been avoiding this thread. I am so sad to hear about Brendol. I feel for you. I wish the news was different. I wish we never had to say goodbye. I wish I could say something to you that would make it hurt less.

You guys are so very much in my thoughts. I hope addie and Aissa are giving you some love and lightness.

I'm so sorry about Brendol's news.  We had similar for Roxie, who is now on just Rimadyl.  Had planned to add gabapentin/tramadol as needed, but the rimadyl made a huge difference.  I hope you see the same improvement.  Onco told me pred can't be used with other NSAIDS (rimadyl), so we picked the most likely to help.  You're in our thoughts and prayers.
