The site closest to us doesn't have inclusion qualifications online, but I've seen them elsewhere.  One of them is that the dog weighs 25kg (55lbs) after amputation.  We haven't weighed Lola lately, but the heaviest we remember is 52 lbs and that was with 4 limbs.  I'll be reaching out to the site tomorrow, but does anyone have any experience with this?  I'd hate it if something as small as 5 lbs kept her from being able to try the vaccine.

Hmm, that's an interesting one, I hadn't heard about that qualification. Let us know what you find out. You can also call Aratana directly at 1-844-ARATANA (272-8262)

I spoke to both Aratana and the local facility and they both confirmed Lola's weight would not be an issue.  We'll be back in touch with the field study location one chemo is done.
