I am sad to hear this news. I know that this time with you and Brandy is going to be so special. Enjoy every moment! I think about the song by a country artist, "live like you are dying". I have listened to that song and enjoyed the message way before we had ever heard of osteosarcoma.
So, I hope you both live like the song. I send my best prayers for much more time for you both.
Hugs,
Elizabeth and Sammy

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
I'm so sorry to hear this news!
There's really no way to know how much time any of us have, so we all just have to try to make the most of our days with our beloved furry family members. (And I guess the non-furry ones too...)
I hope the artemisinin will help keep the tumors at bay so you will have much more good quality time with your sweet girl. We are certainly hoping for the same with Abby.
Virtual hugs and Abby kisses,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
I'm so sorry to hear of this news. You are great pawrents to Brandy, she is still enjoying life and I'm sure the wheelchair will give her extra energy to do the things she loves.
Sending huggs to you,

Brandy and family, I'm so sorry to hear this news. Brandy is a fortunate pup to have a family who will put so much thought and research into how to best care for her. Keep thinking positively. A friend recently told me that she thought that our bond with our pups can help them fight the tumor. At this point, I'm grabbing onto any bit of hope I can find!
