Hey everyone,
I'm going to pick Ajax up in 4 hours. I think I'm still in a bit of denial but not going to worry about that, b/c all the other news is good. The drs day he was up and walking yesterday and that he is "nimble" and "graceful" in his adjustments. Yippee!
Dumb question: we have covered most of the floors for the time being. But has anyone found a hardwood floor cleaner that reduces slipperiness? (I have vetoed several for increasing slipperiness in the past, more on my own behalf than Ajax's, but never went on a search to find a better one.)
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! I am anti-blog (no time, already on my computer all day) but I think I'm hooked on Tripawds.
No dumb questions here, promise.
The only kind of floor surface coating we've found is a permanent clear coat that gets applied. You can read about it in our "No-Slip Floor Ideas for Your Tripawd" article (it's the last item).
Tripawds seem to instinctively know where to walk if there are runners around. As long as you have carpeting/rugs in Ajax's most travelled areas and paths, he should be fine.
Good luck picking him up. Remember, focus on his handsome face and tell him how proud you are. Give him the confidence he needs to recover quickly.
P.S. We're so happy that you're hooked!
