We just got back from the vet where Lylee had her sixth and final Carboplatin treatment!! Yay!

But best of all her xrays of her lungs were clean! Double yay!

We are very relieved to have the chemo behind us, so is Lylee, she was starting to get rather anxious going into the vet's office. They love on her lots but, hey, you know being poked with needles etc. is no fun. (but she tolerated the chemo really well smiley)

We plan to start the metronomic protocol in a month or so.

Thanks Tripawd Gang for your fab support! You are all the best superstar

Hugs

Lylee and her mum, Joanne

That is totally pawesome news! What a super Tripawd Warrior Princess she is!!

Big hugs from me and kisses from Abby,

Jackie, Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Yea Lylee for finishing chemo, and a really big YEA!!! for clean tests.

From where I'm sitting I can see the picture the oncology staff took with Maggie on her last chemo day.  What a HUGE milestone for Lylee.
