Hi all it’s been a while since I have posted and in this current climate of fear and uncertainty I thought I’d share some lovely news on how Lila my 11 year old German shepherd is going! She was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma in early September 2019 and had her right leg removed. Her left hip has moderate arthritis but she is still tripping along well and runs and swims really strongly with three legs! She is loving life, she gets bone broth and rose hip vital as supplements and has a freeze dried meat dog food (ziwipeak). I’m amazed at how well she is going, beating odds of what really experienced vets including a surgical specialist predicted for her. For anyone worried about surgery and chemo, I just wanted share that with Lila it was the best decision.
