Thanks for the great update! Be sure to take it easy for a while and consider starting some rehab exercises to rebuild strength and keep Cooper strong once the stitches are out and incision fully healed. Check out the Maggie Moo Fund for Tripawd Rehab in the Tripawds Foundation blog for more information or review some starter exercises you can do on your own.

What a great way to start out the New Year! 1/2 mile? That is awesome!
Great job Cooper!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

So glad that hear that things are better and that Cooper is bouncing back. Eva said it was way harder on us than her. Once she turned that corner she really started to show improvement slowly but steady. She just got her third chemo treatment today and immunotheraphy starts in a few weeks. She dis pretty well on the chemo. She slept a little more for the first 24 hours and her appetite was a little off, but after 2-3 days she was back to full speed. We had to mix up the food to try to get it a little more tasty and she takes longer to eat. She more snacks than eats those days after chemo. Seemed like smaller meals more often worked better. I am sure that Cooper will do great and Eva sends over her woof woof fist bumps.
Good to hear Eva is doing well too! And good for you on figuring out ma h smaller meals work better for her. WoofWoof Fist Bumps back atcha' 😎
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Hi. I am happy to hear that Cooper is doing well. I was also super nervous about chemo. My lab "Lucky" had his first chemo session this week and he did great. It didn't even seem to phase him so I was glad. We have 5 more sessions planned so we will try to take each one at a time and try not to worry too much in anticipation. Keep us posted on Cooper's progress!
Have a good night,
Pam
