All sounds good so far!  Hooray for #2!!! wink  it's the little things that matter with these Tripawds getting thru recovery.

Jerry posted some good links for you as far as rehab and nutrition.  You asked about supplements.  I can recommend a couple by the same company.

Animal Naturals K9 SuperFuel and Animal Naturals Young at Heart.

My dog has used both in her lifetime to build muscle..and that they do!  I have switched her to Young at Heart now as she is 11 1/2 years old and has been having some eye sight changes..but it's still good for muscle wastage on old dogs too.  I can really see a difference in her if I take her off it.  She's much stronger being on either one of them.

Here's a link where I get it:

I also do lots of regular PT work with my dog because if I didn't, she'd be a wreck really.  She's a couch potato by nature and even more so, now on 3 legs.  So gotta keep that core in good condition so she can live a good life on 3 legs!

Here's to hoping your pup's recovery keeps on going well!  It ain't easy, that I will agree with but the days will get better and better and you'll be darn happy with your decision to amputate.
