We see trembling happen quite a bit here, whether it's because a dog or cat is recovering from amputation surgery, or for other reasons. This article by Dr. Nancy Kay has good info about what to do when it happens:
What to do if you observe that your dog is trembling
Trembling is always cause for concern, particularly if it is out of character for what you know to be normal for your dog. If you observe trembling, a good first step is to determine if something in the environment is causing your dog to feel anxious or fearful.
