Hi everyone. Jerry asked me to post this tip:

I have read a lot about Dr Johanna Budwig Diet. She is a Dr. who did research on good fat & omega 3's. She says this essential nutrient combination actually prevents and cures cancer! Here is what I do for my Bulldog Gracie. I get organic cottage cheese & put it in the food processor. We then add 1 tbs of organic flax seed per 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (make sure you shake the flax oil to help disburse all the good stuff in it.) Whip it up & put it back in the container & in the fridge it goes.  Gracie loves it. I read a lot of good things about adding this to her diet. I read where whipping the cottage cheese with the flax keeps it from separating.  I also read to wait 5 min. after you mix it because they need to activate first.  I make enough to get her through a couple days.  I spoon feed it to her (1/2 cup 3 times a day). She thinks it is a treat!

This is also a great way for me to hide her K9 Immunity pills. She never knows they are there. One spoonful with a pill...one without..and so on.                                                                                                         Here is a link so you can read more about it:

Woof Woof Gracie!!! Kudos to the Budwig Diet.  When I first got my diagnosis and my Mom started reading about all the information Jerry had in this site, we also found the Budwig Diet and now not only I get it but also my two brothers.  We love it and it you think that is good, tell your mom to add the ingredients and some type of fruit like strawberries or apples in the food processor with your cottage cheese and oil...and boy what a dessert.  I just love it!

Thanks for all the information.  I just found out the Abbey my Golden has a mass in her lung.  I would like to start her on this therapy.  She weighs 58 lbs.  How much of the mixture do you think I should give her???  Thanks for all  your help and prayers in advance.

Hi Judi & Abbey,

Gracie weighs 55lbs & gets 1/2 cup 3 times a day. She loves it. I also give it to her as a treat when she comes back in from going to the potty. Since I have taken all of her treats from her this really helps. She doesn't know that they are missing this way. I also use it to give her pills. She licks the whipped cottage cheese & flax oil off a spoon with her k9 immunity pills hidden inside. Works like a charm. We wish you all the luck & know what a difficult time this is.  Please know that there are people here to help. Jerry has made a wonderful site here. I know that it has really helped us cope with everything & bring some issues in to focus.
