I follow Hope for Paws out of L.A., on Facebook and they do a lot of great work in California. There was a little dog, already suffering from the effects of being a stray, found in a ditch after having been severely injured by a homeless man. This little guy isn't a tripawd from cancer or a deformity, or even from being hit by a car. He's a tripawd because he had his leg chopped off by what can only be described as a monster. I know that no one likes these stories, but this little guy needs as many prayers as he can get, and I know the tripawd universe is the greatest at sending prayers up:

Oh this poor baby! How I wish I could scoop him up and hug him!

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

This poor baby! It sounds like he was found by a wonderful group of angels to help him heal. Hard to believe there is that kind of evil.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Sick to my stomach reading this ... I can't even look at the link... I will send all the prayers in the world to this little guy. If I could take him in, I would in a heartbeat.... so horrible.

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Awful. Cant. Even. Fathom.

Eldad and his wife Audrey, founders of Hope for Paws, this rescue group, are amazing people. We had the honor of meeting them last year at the Blog Paws conference. I don't know how they are strong enough to do the work they do but thank DOG they are, because animals need them so much.

Prayers going out, lots of them.

No need to apologize Christine, you aren't the only one wishing for awful things to happen to that creep.
