This poor tri-pawd was an owner surrender, if you can believe it, to a high kill shelter here in Miami. He is three years old. The shelter is at least trying to get this sweet boy cross-posted, and I've even seen him on Miami Craigslist...but no takers, and it's been over a week. His time is running short. I sent his information to Florida All Retriever Rescue; no response so far.  Also tried the southern Flat Coat Rescue, also no answer. Can anyone here offer rescue/adoption or even know of any other rescues that might take him on? I have a geriatric golden retriever mix with neuro problems, and we live in a one bedroom apartment - I just can't offer this dog a home, although I wish I could.  Here's the information posted by the shelter (and all I know) - please, if you can help let me know. Â

Flatties are wonderful dogs! Ruthie was a flattie and I now have a 9 week old flattie named Tess.
