Hi all!

I haven't posted in some time, but wanted to let everyone know about a new tripawd here in Montana. He is located at http://www.rezq......org/adopt. He is 2 years old and due to past abuse and neglect had to have an amputation. All his information is located on the Rez Q Dogs Facebook page. His name is Casey and looks to be a Border Collie X.

Hope someone can give him a forever home!

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Luanne! It's great to hear from you! How's the pack doing?

Thank you for thinking of us and sharing Casey's story. Here's a direct link to his profile, and an adorable mugshot. We will do what we can to help him find a home.

Thanks for helping get the word out!

All here in MT is good and all the fur kids are hanging in there although getting older (like all of us!).

I'll check into the alumni forum and see what's going on. Good to see the old crowd!

You bet! Do share some photos of the pack in the Alumni Forum, we'd love to see 'em!

We are hyper interested in Casey.   We live in Missouri but are willing to travel if required.   Would be happy to adopt, and have already contacted the shelter.   But, my question is...  is there a process to transport the handsome fellow acceptable to the Tripawds organization,  or should we plan to travel to Montana to follow through?

Tripawds has no official program in place for rescue transport. It will be best to make plans for picking him up.

There was one case in the past 11+ years where Tripawds members coordinated a cross-country rescue railroad. Please feel free to start a topic if you want to try recruiting others to help and we'll be happy to spread the word!
