Oh I'm jealous. ... Brad's face and eyes just spoke to my soul and I would have loved to have given him a home but sadly I don't have the time or space (or funds) for more than one fur-baby but I'm so happy he's going to have a blessed, loving wonderful life with you!! Cannot wait to see more photos!!!!
Hugs and love,
alison with spirit shelby in her heart

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Aww I am sorry. Melinda and I spoke in great lengths about our lifestyle and his character and it was a perfect match. The other 2 caught my eye first but only Brad ticked all the boxes my end and his end and he's been in the rescue for so long it would be awesome to finally give him his happy ending as he so deserves!

You are amazing!!!! He will live the BEST life with you!
As far as fundraising for him, I know that Tripawds does offer a reimbursement for those that rescue a tripawd ... not sure of the amount but I am sure Jerry (Rene) will chime in with the details. Since Tripawds is its own 501(c)3 charity, you can't actually fundraise with us but I am sure others will chime in with suggestions.
CONGRATS again!!!

Ah ok I see but that doesn't stop me fund raising for you? In the uk?
Not at all! Donations just aren't tax-deductible for the donor in other countries. We are always grateful for support from overseas, thank you!
So yes, as Alison said... check out this blog post for Tripawds Adoption Reimbursement program. The program is to reimburse the new Tripawd parent, doesn't matter that you're overseas. We would reimburse you up to $100 USD for the adoption fee, then you could turn around and give it to MDDB to help with the costs.
Tripawds fundraising policy within the community is that we only ask that there aren't any direct appeals/requests posted in a Tripawds blog. But if you wanted to talk about the adoption process, MDDB, etc., and include a link to more information about MDDB and Brad's story, that's fine. Make sense?

Perfect sense 😊 and of course I would only fund raise off here to as that would be a bit rude lol!
Brad will have his own blog not much different to Leo's except of course it would be about him lol and in the forum bit to.
I am actively searching for a home for Leah as well currently and I know there's a home for her just need to find it 😊. People might thing I break all my dogs if I had 3 tri paws lol although I have offered to foster her whilst we find the home for her should she need it 😊

Leo being a hooligan puppy managed to twist his back. He's been to the vet and got metacam. He couldn't stand up on his rear leg, playing hard with his sister so we were terrified he had done something to his rear leg that would have been devastating but thankfully it's muscle in his back and just needs plenty of rest (and wrapping in bubble wrap as well as grounding).
He should be fine in a few days but yep we were pretty scared for a while there! X

Oh my gosh, I can only imagine little Leo wrapped up in bubble wrap!!
Congratulations on your pending adoptions. You are a wonderful doggie mama. I'm considering volunteering some time in Thailand next year to care for rescued elephants and dogs. The volunteer work entails socializing the dogs and picking ticks off them. I hope I don't come home with any dogs or ticks. My cats will not be amused.

Aww thank you!
Volunteering would be amazing I am sure would love to do something like that but don't think my pooches would be over impressed lol
leo gives me lots of grey hairs i swear he does it on purpose lol but today racing around and chasing his sister so think we are feeling much better now!
Really excited adding a new fur baby to our family xx
