We just got word that Mr. T (aka TPod) is leading the way to help Molly find help and a home where she can be given the love she so deserves. His Mom Denna is closely involved in helping this beauty find a forever family.
Here's what Denna says about her situation.
She has been surrendered to us completely by her former owner.
She is now in foster care with a local lady who does German Shepherd training and boarding.
She has seen a vet had been re-evaluated and confirmed that she needs5. amputation
Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday
Her foster is willing to take care of her through her surgery and re-hab until permanent placement can be found. We were at her vet appointment and she is such a sweet girl.
I truly hope this all works out for her. Just breaks my heart that it wasn't done sooner. She has been dealing with this for a year!
This video will tell more about her story and the current effort by Denna and her amazing friends who are trying to help Molly with everything from the surgery costs to rehab care to finding a loving home. Their fundraising effort for Molly falls within the Tripawds Fundraising Policy guidelines, so we're sharing it here.
Please help spread the word.
Molly is such a lucky girl to be cared for by a great group like this, we know great things are in store for her.

Just an update on the fabulous Miss Molly. She had her amp and is recovering well, her hair is almost all grown back in. She is now with a rescue and living with a boatload of small dawgs and other critters (horses, rats, chickens and whatnot). Wow, Miss Molly, what restraint you have my dear. Some of us wouldn't make it more than a minute in a situation like that!!
You can see Molly's petfinder page here and see more pix of her here . Denna, TPods mom said just today ... "Molly is doing great. She has not found her forever home yet but is with a wonderful lady here locally that does rescue. I am actually going to see her this afternoon......She is a completely different dog than the one we originally received. She has sparkle in her eyes again and is such a sweet girl." Thats what we like to hear!!!!! A big shout out to Denna and TPod and everyone that has pulled together to give this girl a chance at a better life!
So......which one of you fabulous peeps is going to cave and bring Molly home? It looks like the rescue might adopt out of state and I don't know fur sure but I bet she is good with cats and look! She knows how to give herself a bath!

Hey Molly girl, I think you and me would make a great team. After all we're missing the same leg!
I'm going to work on getting my people to adopt you. Maybe they'll finally give in and get me a friend. Paws crossed!

Good Golly! Miss Molly has found her furever home!!!!! Wooooohoooohooo!
According to Short 'n Sweet Rescue, "Molly, our three legged German Shepherd, got adopted today! Her new family is very experienced with three legged dogs as their previous dog was a three legged dog. They also have a 4 pound Chihuahua that was thrown out of a car and they rescued it. And a poodle mix that absolutely adores Molly."
A big thanks to Tripawds members Denna and TPod, their golden retriever rescue friends and Short 'n Sweet for helping this sweet girl get out of a bad situation where her peeps couldn't afford to care for her, fundraising for her amputation, and finding her a furever family!!!!
