Hi guys maybe someone can help me find a forever home for Asher 🐶 she is a Tripawd. I wasn’t looking to get another dog or foster one ..... I was on Craigslist looking to get a dog house for the 3 dogs I already have and while scrolling I noticed that some ads were of people trying to sell or give their pets for adoption.

I saw Asher’s picture and decided to read on her story and apparently the family that had her couldn’t keep her due to the financial issues and also because they lived in a rented property and dogs were not allowed, Asher was found by the father’s Boss ( he found Asher on a back road with a broken leg and was gonna shoot her to put her off her misery) the father told his boss that he would take Asher home and that’s how this story started and after getting to know all the details I felt like I had to do something and help.

I can’t have another dog it’s a lot of work with 3 dogs and don’t have the time to trained another. I also offered the family where I got her from to pay  their pet deposit but apparently that was not an option and if I returned the dog back to them they would surrender the dog to a shelter and that broke my heart because she has so much energy and is so sweet... she wants to live you can see it on her eyes. She is smart and you can tell she is a quick learner.

Here are some pictures of her. Any tips or information would help I am lost and don’t know what to do.

Hi Laura and Asher, welcome. Your future posts won't need approval so post away.

It's been good chatting with you in the Tripawds Chat . You have such a huge heart! I hope the rescue groups we found for you will help this sweet pup find his forever home.

Don't forget...you got Asher out of a bad situation and although you may not be his permanent family, you are his pit stop on the freedom train to a forever home. Thank you for helping him get there.

Laura I was thinking about you and Asher. What's going on? Were you able to help Asher find a home or a rescue?

Laura, give me a shout.  I'd be interested in giving Asher a forever home. The catch is I am in Michigan but will be traveling to Austin TX to visit my son at Fort Hood.  Sometime in June.  Would that be a workable timetable for you?  Id pitch in with funds to help you keep him until then if that would help.

Let me know

WOW!!  Will be interesting  to see how this unfolds.  Very kind of youheart

I had a contact number from a Helpline inquiry  she made initially  about finding  this  pup a home.  I went ahead and left her a message this evening  about your interest.

I sort of have a "feeling" she may have adopted him out (or kept him) since she never responded  to Jerry's post April 19th.   Anyway, I made  her aware that, if still interested, you had expressed  a willingness in possibly  giving this sweet boy a home and to check out  uour post.

So we'll see if Charlie has picked out Archer for uou, or if he has other plans winker

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
