If you’re a fan of a lovable scruffy face, you’re in for a treat! Levi is a 1yr old, 24lb. wire haired mix and here’s what Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin has to say about him:
Meet Levi! Levi is around 1 year old and 24lbs. This sweet guy was adopted from a rural TN shelter and then found as a stray with a broken leg. Luckily a foster stepped up to help get him to WI so our veterinary team could amputate his leg.
He is very loving and gentle, has a lot of “go” but also settles down in the house nicely after a walk or a romp in the yard. He would love doggy daycare- but truthfully he seems to love everything. Has a lot to say about things, and likes to patrol the yard. He will for sure let you know if he thinks anything is suspicious! He can run shockingly fast for only having 3 legs and LOVES running. We are working on recall, which he is picking up quickly.
He loves working for treats and loves giving one armed hugs. At first he was a little nervous when he first got here, but now his tail is always wagging. He likes the other dogs he has met, but does not like pushy dogs. He is a happy plucky little guy looking for people that can keep up with him!

**Please note: Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing. Applying is the first step in our process.**
