As a non-blogger, I was totally lost trying to keep up with the bloggers until I discovered an easy way! You bloggers may have an easy way to keep up with other's blogs but I didn't.
Instead of doing the "catch-when-catch-can", there is a RSS Feed link for the latest 25 blog entries:
http://tripawds.....s-feed.php
And then there is a feed for comments on blogs:
http://tripawds.....s-feed.php
If you are on Internet Explorer 7 or above, just click the link and it comes up automatically. You read them all on one page. It's so much easier than running around looking for comments and new blog entries.
Anyhoo, some of you may already know this, but I didn't and thought I'd share.
The RSS feeds are on the right hand side of the home page with the little orange icon. (mid-way down on the page)
Comet's mom
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thank you so much for sharing this great tip for subscribing to Tripawds RSS Feeds! (Especially since we continue to deal with the feeds failing in some readers periodically. We're still working on that ... Bloggers: Please try to refrain from including punctuation in your post titles.)
For those unfamiliar with RSS feeds, an RSS News Reader is a great way to manage feeds from various sources if you do not to use Internet Exploder. Here are a few helpful links for more information and downloading free RSS Reader programs:
- Free RSS Readers and News readers from Download.com
- 20 Free RSS Readers Reviewed by SimpleHelp.net
- Free Google Reader works with most browsers
We will, however, move this topic to the Tech Support forum now since it pertains to the Tripawds website. It is a great tip, but the Tips And Resources forum is intended for amputation care tips and external cancer care resources.
