I tried to subscribe to Brendol's blog last night and it said that I would receive a confirmation email. I never received it. Since Karma has 2 blogs & I already subscribed to Addy's blog would that be why I didn't receive the confirmation for Brendol's?

No, all blogs (and their subscriptions, if applicable) are independent from one another.
How did you subscribe? We just subscribed to Brendol's blog using the sidebar widget and did not receive any notification regarding a confirmation email, only "Thank you, your email has been added to the mailing list."
Regardless, upon reviewing subscribers for Miss Brendol's adventures, it appears that your subscriber email has been confirmed!

FYI: We did receive a confirmation email after all, and upon clicking the confirmation link the sbscription was indeed activated.
It appears the plugin is clearly working, though some of its messages could use some tweaking.

Yeah, I never got that confirmation email. I used the same widget on the side of the blog. I am using the same email address that I have always used

You'll just need to wait for her next blog post to see if you get notified, and perhaps check your spam folder.
