my "add reply" disappeared. It's only on that thread. I'm logged in. I've "turned.....rotated" my tavlet and mynopen tabs are closed. Hmmmm......?????

Sally were you trying to reply to Samson's photos? I think what happened was that Samson's posts got moved to their own topic in Coping with Loss. (https://tripawd.....ons-story/)

I was trying to reply to Samson photos in the Angel's who jave passed photo Gallery on page 10. Trying to reply right after the post where a link to Samson's photo was.
Her post with that link is still there and is now followed by a reply post from you.
Now MAGICALLY after your post, the reply button appears again (if I were to reply to your post.).
I screen shooting to show there was NO reply button right after her post... .there was only"add topic" and a little "lock" (pad.lcck looking icon). So yes, that where there was no reply vitton.
I tapped the lock a couple pf times to try and unlock whatever the bleep was locked. But to no avai.
All that said, the reply button is back on mow and I'm foi g to reply! So none of this matters. But the dang button was NOT there!!!!
