I can usually find my way around computers in a hit or miss fashion, but a blog -- I have no idea where to begin. It appears I have one assigned but nothing shows up in my profile under URL which is what I assume the blog would be. I searched forums but don't really see anything, are there directions somewhere.
Harley is an 8 year old Golden Retriever. Amp surgery for an infiltrative lipoma canceled due to two masses in chest. A rescue, he found his forever home on 3/18/07 and left for his eternal home on 1/09/13. His story and medical history are at http://myharley.....pawds.com/
Sorry for the confusion.
Perhaps you are mistaking your Forums profile found via the profile button at the top of this page with your Tripawds User Profile found in your blog dashboard accessible from any Tripawds page via the grey admin bar at the very top.
In the former (your Forums profile) you may want to update the information to provide some information about you and Harnley when others click your avatar. Add your blog URL in the website field and you a link to your blog will appear with all your posts. Also consider adding a brief signature, or any social network accounts you wish to share.
Now, your blog... it is found at myharley.tripawds.com. You will notice that your blog has a default post that you can edit, or delete and publish a new one. There is also an example comment, and you have a default page you can also edit or delete.
We have plenty of tutorial videos for getting started with your blog on the Help page. If you need additional help or have specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
So... to answer the question you posed in the title of this topic; you already created a blog, likely during the registration process. That is the easiest way to create a blog, and a link is provided in the confirmation email sent out. Anyone who did not create a blog during sign-up, can do so by clicking the Sign Up Now button found throughout this site, or by visiting the My Sites page (in the admin bar) and clicking Create New.
Hope this helps!

I must have named it just before you responded. The confusion for me was that there must be one sort of "reserved" for members but I never named it until tonight. I got as far as a title and picture - WOW! I see therer is a tutorial so I will take a look at that. Thank you for responding.

Not sure what you mean by that. All members are users this site, the main Tripawds blog, and can choose to create their own site at sign-up, or any time. A title and URL are required to create the site, and a default description is provided if none is given. The title and description can both be changed from the General Settings tab, but the URL cannot be changed.
You are welcome, and thank you for being part of this community.
