I would loooove ro know how to put it on a line by itself and where I intend for it to go!!
Which one...if any...of those "things" in the tool bar do I tap when I embed a "link copied to clipboard" to make it go where I want it to to....not AUTOMATICALLY to the top....even though I've embedded it in the middle, or end, of my reply???
I now know to tap the 9 th "thing" from the left to make a picture go exactly where I place it. But what do I tap to make a link "copied to clipboard" go where I want it? And while I'm at it....same for a YouTube video....to make it go where I want it instead of automatically gping to top of my reply...?

Without a tavlet for testing, we bet if you actually create text links, the droid will not misplace the links you place like you describe. (See steps in above topic.)
Ready to take your post editing skills to the next level? In Short:
- Copy desired link.
- Select some anchor text in your post.
- Tap Insert Link button.
- Paste Link.
- Tap OK
Which one...if any...of those "things" in the tool bar do I tap when I embed a "link copied to clipboard"...
Use the Insert/edit link button:
You must first select text to which you want to apply the link.
And while I'm at it....same for a YouTube video....to make it go where I want it instead of automatically gping to top of my reply...?
This process will not work for Youtube links, unless you want to direct users to Youtube for viewing.
To embed the Youtube video in a forum post, the link must be pasted directly into the editor, which apparently the droid likes to move when you do.
Now, if you are ready for your advanced degree, you could probably use the Source code view to edit specific placement of the content you want to share. If you really want to go there...

I use nothing but tablets these days, so if you need any specific tablet help, please feel free to private message me. In general, I can usually figure most computing related things out rather quickly as before I retired I used to teach various computing classes to adults.
And yes, YouTube videos can be placed anywhere in the body of postings ...

This was sooooopooo hard!!!!!!! TOOK A LOOOOONG TIME TO DO THIS PROCESS!!! OMD, BUT WE DID IT!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 So all your time put into this was NOT wasted!!!! I had to do it for YOU ADMIN GUY!!!...I had to master this (at least once anyway)!!!!
Now, I do have one little ....er...challenge.....I've lost the ability to do QUOTES from an earlier post since I switched to TinyMICE. would you HYPERLINK me to a thread that explains that please? My DiNero clip would have been much better (or not) if I had been avle to transfer your "no more hijacking other ropics for unlimited support" comment!!

That would be incredibly odd since the feature for quoting a post has nothing to do with the selected editor, in general terms.
Not sure there is a topic specifically about How to Quote a Post:
- Tap quote button.
- Reply to post.
Technically, you can use the RichText editor (TinyMCE) to assign the blockquote style to any selected text...

Okay....think I have it. It was just before when I tapped the "quote this post and reply", the whole reply would show up starting with "blockquote" and ending with "blockuote" I woukd just go in and delete everything EXCEPT the sentence or two I wanted ro quote.
And..........so much of what shows up on your screen does not show up on mind....which makes me look even MORE INEPT, IF EVEN POSSIBKE!!! 🙂
For instance......where you have an "eexplanation" underneath the little icon things......like it says "blockquote" uner the quotes and "quote this and reply" under the other wuotes......I got nuttin' 'splaining nuttin'! But then again, I do have UTSF 🙂
Practicing ine more thing ...just ignore quote if it works...

The tooltip shown is the hover effect seen only on desktop browsers. Since there is no pointer on a tavlet, there is no way to hover over elements.
