As of yesterday at about 1000 pacific that bad thing that shall not be mentioned has not happened to me.

Of course I finally am remembering to 'copy' my text before I post so maybe that has something to do with it big-grin

Hmmm....must be nice. whatever

Seriously, I'm happy that it seems ro be working for youclap

Right around the same time Miss Michelle was repprti g no issues...I got booted. Of course, I'm still javing to log in everytime too.way-cool

Have not had a chance ro go to BFF Bobby at Verizon. Did, however TRY and talk to a tchie over the phone. I read a bunch of stuff from your posts (meaning Admin. Guy). Ohhhhh boy! That was fun!!! No progress...but fun. I maintained a confident and knowledgeable approach (by quoting your pinpointing the issues)....and his brain was frying!!!clap

It is "strange", that I started getting logged out as it started happening to others. In fact, I may have been the first one to report it, and then others followedclown

Anyway, I'll keep plugging away at Verizon and see if I can get a "higher up" techie.....pray for him

I was already logged in when I opened the browser.  I was going to do my moderator thing and I clicked on 'View New Posts' above my avatar and I got a quick flash of 'access denied' then to the log in screen.  Once I logged in again I was able to do mod things.

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

I had already approved a new member post and posted a reply or two.  Was posting in another thread and got logged off when I hit submit reply.
Seems like I get logged off when I take a while writing a post.  Also I have a vague recollection of something like this happening years ago and it seemed like it was tied to how long you took to post or how long you were maybe inactive?

I just tried to log in. Usually my user name and password come up automatically. This time I had to enter the user name. The password auto filled and then I got bounced to the other login page. Hope that makes sense.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

I logged on when I opened my browser and read a couple posts. Then I was going back to the list of unread posts and I got logged off.  So never mind my idea above about long posts...

The only reason I posted the log out this rime was because the ip address has been the same the last several times I was booted off. Anyway, I'm going to Verizon FINALLY tomorrow to see if they can fix stuff on my end.

Don't forget to feed those hardworking monkeys!

Sooo....spent some more time with BFF Bobby at Verizon today...lucky boy!

He checked out my jetback/hotspot device. He said as far as Ivp4 and Ivp6, it is set up for voth. I think he said one kicks in if the other one isn't available. It's the way the software(?) is set up. It's nothing I can do on my end to make it just do the one that works with this site.what-ever

Soooo, I guess that means ........er....hmm....I have no idea! way-confused Does it mean I'll always have to log in every single time (which is no biggie).....and get booted off if my jetback is switching from one Ivp to the other (which is annoying)??oh-my

Not sure BFF Bobby at Verizon is up to snuff on all the technical stuff anyway. I had to explain the techno term "honeypot". winker

We are still wotking to identify the cause of random unexpected log-outs. Logging in upon return is a different issue, caused by security measures which limit session time-outs.

As far as IPv4 vs. v6, if you encounter problems and discover the device is in IPv6 mode, try resetting/restarting the Jetpack until it grabs a v4 address.
