Hi there! My tripawd girl has had some incontinence issues for a few years, mostly at night when she sleeps. She's almost 15. Been to the vet and it seems to be just old lady issues. I was thinking about diapers but with her back leg missing, I don't think they would stay on. Any advice or other options? You guys helped so much last time I had a question and have since Bailey lost her leg in 2011 I figured you were the people to go to!

Wyatt Ray was missing his rear spare and had incontinence issues when he got older. We connected diapers to his harness with elastic bed sheet fasteners. Maybe others will have additional suggestions.

My rear amp TriPug Maggie developed incontinence as she aged.  I did find that the diapers did not stay on at all.  My vet prescribed a medication that helped with the incontinence- I can't remember the name right now.  After starting on the meds the incontinence pretty much stopped.

Attaching the diapers to a harness as Admin suggested will work.  When my quad Pug had knee surgery I made little pants for him to keep him away from the incision and I attached them to his harness.

Yes she is on incontinence meds but it seems when she's relax and laying in when the issues are. She won't wear them all the time. She's 14 and a half and 50 lbs so she's ancient. She typically doesn't sleep in her harness but I may try it or her thunder shirt.
