Hoppy 5 month ampuversary Sammy! Give that big boy of yours a big hug from me and Tasha will eat a few goodies in your honor. Congrats Sammy!
Jo Ann & Tasha
Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….
Hoppy 5 months big boy!!!! Keep it up!!!
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Yeah for Sammy! 5 months is great.
Zack used to get similarly excited, where his whole body would curve in half - we used to call it 'doing the bean' because he looked like a kidney bean - ha!
Here's to many more ampuversaries!
Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010
Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.
Happy 5 month ampuversarySammy!!! I love how you say "Hi" to your Mom, that's so cool! All these ampuversaries! Ranger and Athena say "thank you, thank you" for all the good treats!
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Yea!!! Happy 5 Month Ampuversary Sammy!! I can't believe that it's already 5 months. You have done so well. You really do rock pretty boy!!! Tell your mom that I love her saying:
I love this dog with every beat of my heart 🙂
That's just a wonderful statement and I know what she means exactly.....
Sending lots of golden hugs to you....
Kami, Angel M & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Congratulations Sammy. May you have many, many more!
Debra & Angel Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
What wonderful news! We're fairly new to Tripawds, but we get so excited to read about ampuversaries, and wagging tails, and fun with the furry ones we love so much! Congrats to you, Sammy, and your family who love you!
- Sweet Sylvia and dog-mom Karen
Sweet Silly Sylvie, the Old English Sheepdog
Diagnosed with osteosarcoma 11/04/2010 at almost 7 years of age * Left hind leg amputated 11/09/2010 * Chemo on 12/10, 12/17, 01/10, 01/31
Sweet Sylvie's earthly journey ended on Nov. 3, 2011, one day short of a year since her diagnosis and 6 days short of her one-year ampuversary. Her family celebrates her life as a sheepdog – ever the puppy, ever silly, ever sweet – and are grateful for our 7 years together.
Thank you all,
I send all of you hugs from Washington! I am sorry if you are snowbound or stuck in a blizzard. Today was one of the first few days of sunshine here. We had record rainfall for over 20 days for Seattle, that is saying something. I send you good wishes for warming sunshine to all my mid-west and east coast friends too.
We love you all, and Deborah, you are family 🙂
Elizabeth and the beautiful Sammy
Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in the right front leg 8/23/10,
leg fractured 8/27/10,
leg amputated 8/30/10

Happy Ampuversary, Sammy!!! I can't believe its already been 5 months! And more than that, I can't believe you were only a little over 2 months post-amp when we met at the cancer walk in November...you are one SUPER BOY!!! Hope you got spoiled 🙂
