Our 6+ year old Old English Sheepdog Sylvia was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her left hind leg on November 4, 2010. On November 5, we made the decision to have the leg removed and go through a round of chemotherapy. The leg was amputated on Nov. 9, and Sylvia came home to begin recovery on Nov. 11.
