Many hugs and congratulations are going out to our friends who hopped along today, in their fight to help cure canine cancer. Lots of you just finished participating in the Morris Animal Foundation K9K Walk to Cure Canine Cancer, in Sacramento, CA.
Whether you walked virtually or were lucky enough to be there, you are making the world a better place for all dogs, by helping to find a cure and stop this awful disease. Thank you so much.
We just heard from our friend Seanne, Wrigley's Mom, who sent us some lovely photos from the event. Seanne and Wrigley's surviving sibling, Rookie and his new pal Willow, met up with our friend Montana's Mom Jeanette. And even our pal Cemil and his mom Mary drove a couple of hours just to be there!
What a great family we have here guys! You are so, so awesome.
Remember, it's never too late to help with Morris' campaign. To find out how what you can do, click here.

We are sooooo sorry we missed this event. We really wanted to be a part of it but my mom was working too hard and spaced it out until it was too late to register We reeeeally hope that there will be another event in the Bay Area in the fall as promised! Thanks to all of you who got out there and put your paws to work for a cure!

Cemil and I had a wonderful time too, meeting Seanne and Janette and their families. Cemil wasn't able to walk very far, but he was happy to soak up attention from anyone who wanted to pet him, and that makes a great day for him. And he and Montana had a short minute of playing--two tripawds with their yellow Survivor bandanas, being normal. It was a happy moment. We're looking forward to the next one.
Cemil and mom Mary, Mujde and Radzi….appreciating and enjoying Today
Can't thank you and Cemil enough for walking on behalf of all of us here!

Just wanted to let everyone know how much we appreciated your support for the very first K9K Walk to Cure Canine Cancer. We had 12 members on the Tripawd Team. I was delighted that many were able to attend the walk.
Together we raised an amazing $18,580 to fund canine cancer research!
We were so grateful for the support of dog lovers that made the event more successful than we could imagine. The K9K will be an annual event! Due to many requests, we will leave the donation period open until April 30th as many people didn't know about the walk until their friends who attended, told them about it later.
I will have a photo album up at the caninek.org website this weekend if you'd like to see additional photos of the walk.
Thanks!
Sandy
