The following is a post on the PitBullTalk forum by one of the researchers at the Canine Cancer Research Consortium.  We were honored she took the time and thought enough of Trouble to add her name to the memorial.  The other three names in the group all have/had lymphoma.  Kato was my light at the end of the tunnel, the one who survived, the one who gave me hope - he lost his battle after more than two years early this year.  Ella was diagnosed when a huge lump came up on her neck, less than two weeks later she was gone.  Sepp(el) is still fighting and undergoing chemo, he is still very young (3 I think) we hope he has many years ahead.

Unfortunately since I was working, I didn't get a whole lot of photos

from the Puppy Up 2Dogs/2,000 miles event in Boston this weekend.

I did, however, get some phone photos of the memorial dog statue at the

dinner. This was a tribute for cancer dogs who have passed and others

who are still fighting. I added a few names. I wish I could have added

a number more, but there were others waiting to add their loved ones

too.

Hugs,

Holly, Zuzu and Susan

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!
