Because Caira Sue commented on Cemil's puppy picture in a blog post, I posted a bunch more.  I'd like to see everybody do that (all who can)--puppy pictures are fun!  Let's get teary-eyed from cuteness for a little while...

That's a great idea!

Just a little background:

We got Comet at about 4 months old in January 1999.  She's probably a little over 11 now.  Rugby came (if memory serves me) Sept 2001, he was probably about 5 months old and he was so strange looking.  He looked like a black shepherd but his legs were so short.  I swore he was part Bassett.   Who knows.  He died from hemangiosarcoma suddenly in July.  Rocket (or monkeybutt as he is fondly called) came in August.  He was probably 6 mths old. He is now about a year old.

She got cuter with age, I believe.

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.

She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

PS: I know it may be hard to choose, but let's please try to limit everybody's photos to one or two (max.) per dog to keep the load time for this topic manageable.

Here are a couple of Maggie at 10 weeks old.  The first one she is on my lap at my uncle's house in LA.  The second is in my old back yard at home in Livermore.  She weighted 4.5 pounds at our first vet visit at about 11 weeks old.
