There are only 28 days in Feb this year, so Jackson's ampuversary will be celebrated today AND tomorrow!  Wahoo!

We're SO proud of our pup!  He's doing so very well and we all couldn't be happier.  He has had 3 IV chemos and last week his lungs were still found to be clear.  His weight is stable.  He loves all his foods and meds and oils.  He still runs around after his toys, twisting and turning on a dime.  He wags his tail just as often, if not more.  He still jumps on our bed, usually right at 7:30am to verbally (and moistly!) remind us to 'get out of bed right now and feed me!'  His grandpawrents came for a visit over the weekend, so he got plenty of special love there.  We've got nothing special planned for his pawrty, except all the love, stump-rubs, stump-kisses, fetches,  squeaky toy time, and hugs to devote to him all day.  He's SO loved!  Celebrate with us and lavish your furbabies today with us!

Go J-Pod!  Go Tres-J!  Go Tripawd Nation!

~ Katy

Every time I took a picture, I'd yell out: It's your 2 month!  Hoppy Ampuversary!

You can see he tried all sorts of expressions and positions.  He had no idea why I was exclaiming praise and love without giving a treat immediately.  His tail was twitching with excitement and finally, in the last shot, you can see he could barely keep it together.  He was ready to fall backward at any moment.  Ha!  "Geez, mom!  That's ENOUGH!  Treat me already!  Look how handsome and poised I am.  Now....TREAT ME!!!!  RAWR!!!!"

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Our funny little guy!

Happy Ampuversary Mr. Jackson!!  Look at that face.......makes me go awwwwwww.  He does look very spunky!  Enjoy the celebration.  March on Winter Warrior!

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13.  Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14.  She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self.  Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Jackson....what a lucky dog you are.  You get two celebrations.  You know what?  You deserve it.  I cant believe its already been 2 months for you.  I am so happy you are doing well.  You are a very handsome dog.  You are looking quite dapper sporting your tripawd bandanna.  Here's to many more future celebrations with your reaching milestones.  Sending you a big hug and a kiss.

Happy Ampuversary, Jackson.  I don't post on here much, but I just realized that it was Phoenix's 5 month ampuversary last Sunday.  Jackson looks like a wonderful and charming dog!

Joan and Lily

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Awww, shucks!  Thanks everyone!  We've had a really good day.  Lots of playtime, a pig ear, tasty veggies, and turkey for dinner.  Mmmmm.  One last photo, though.  I finally got a shot of him cocking his head, like puppies do.  He does it all the time!  This time, it was easily invoked with "wanna go outside?"  Yeah, we know how it works....  It's as though I just said the most interesting thing ever, or at least in the last 5 seconds!
