Paws up, cuz Jackson celebrates 10 months today! It wasn't an overly epic celebration here - no party "dress", no cake, no ice cream, BUT there were games of fetch and lots of gnawing on mom while wrestling. We're still just as awesome and feeling fine as we've ever felt. Life is good. And so is this toy!
I've been trying to get action shots of him while playing using my camera's high speed burst. I like how they came out! Yep, blurry, but that a special touch. Here's Jackson!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Jackson you are "da bomb". Keep on having these"ampuversaries" cuz we love a pawty around here. Woo-hoo!!
Luanne & Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Yay Jackson. Love it. Hoppy Ampuversary Winter Warrior. You are kicking some major butt. Love you J. Keep celebrating for us.

Karma and the crew (and our angel Brendol)
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Awwww, thanks everyone! We had a good night. He's going to be 9 in a few weeks and he still plays and wrestles like he has all 4 limbs and the energy of a 5 year old. It's marvelous!
Jackson consumes fluffy toys. It's good fun for about 5s. So our toys are tough. Anything that he can fetch and play tug-o-war with is great (does it squeak?!). Bonus points if the toy has something he can shake vigorously against either side of his head/body! This one, not so much, but some of his favorites are ones he can bat all over the place! This toy is by West Paw Design: http://www.west.....ign.com/ It's their Bumi. It floats too!!! So many of their toys do.
