Today is our Chief Fun Officer's birthday at the Rainbow Bridge. And oh what a day it is! We can see him now, destroying his arch nemesis Barney and gnawing on all the meaty bones he wants.
We can't help but think that our Spirit Jerry perfectly choreographed how this week is rolling out.
In addition to his birthday, it's also the week we launch Be More Dog, our decade-long project to tell his story in words.
Also, on Thursday, the same day of the book launch, we are returning to UC Davis for the first time since Jerry's amputation at their hospital. This time though, it's for good reasons! We are interviewing veterinarians like Dr. Denis Marcellin-Little about all things Tripawd, for information we will share with the community. Coincidentally (or not) it was the only day that we could arrange these interviews at Davis. Talk about Jerry magic!
And finally, it's Jerry's Angelversary on 10/3. Need we say more about our magic little angel dog?

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

And thank you for remembering...we spent the 11th anniversary of Jerry's passing interviewing some of the incredible faculty at UC Davis where he had his amputation almost exactly 13 years ago.
And, by launching his long overdue book: Be More Dog - Learning to Live in the Now! Oh, and by coping with major server issues causing site connectivity problems on the day of that launch... our old CFO has been messing with us big time today!
