Today Holly celebrated her 9 month ampuversary! She had a jolly day... ice cream for lunch, beef with her dinner, and special grain free salmon biscuits from our little dog store in town. The only bad thing was she went in for a nail trim, which she absolutely hates. (I know - I'm a mean mom). But she got extra treats at the vets, and was fussed over, and somehow even ended up happy with that! And a car ride, and a walk, and extra barks at the mailman made it a super day! Zuzu celebrated by eating some baseboard... she must have decided she needed some fiber.
We're so thankful for each day with our girl. Thanks to everyone for helping us along this journey!
Hugs,
Holly Jolly by Golly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

I'm may just split my mouth from smiling from all the good news tonight! Mackenzie, Bob's new dog and NOW HOLLY!
We couldn't be happier for Holly! It's a Jolly, by Golly day indeed! (wouldn't it have been better without the toenail clipping?!)
I think we'll celebrate with something less wood-like and have a cookie! (I hope we don't start celebrating with baseboard treats – that might get expensive!)
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Holly Jolly by Golly! Happy 9 Month Ampuversary!! We are so happy to be celebrating this great ampuversary day with you. We actually thought about you today before we knew it was your 9 month ampuversary - I bought some salmon in the can to give to Mackenzie and Kobe and always knew that this was a big hit with you. Guess what?! Mackenzie and Kobe both gobbled their food right up (which has been a bit of a challenge lately) so every time we eat salmon now we will be thinking of you. Next treat - those salmon ice cubes!
Such a great day with everyone's good news! Whooo hoo!!
Sending lots of golden hugs your way!
Kami, Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Happy 9 Month Ampuversary to Holly!! That's just great great news. Hoping you have many more ampuversaries to celebrate!
