Hi everyone,
I wanted to stop by and say hi. I don't know if you remember me. April will be 2 years since we lost Marshall. It still is so hard to think about that time and to think about what Marshall went through.
Doc, Marshall's cousin is going to be 2 on January 5. His personality couldn't be more different from Marshall's. In some ways that's good and other ways not as good. My son has been showing him with 4h so they bond over that but I don't think another dog with ever steal his heart like Marshall did. I know for me there will never be another dog that has my heart like Marshall.
I wanted to say hi and if any new members have any questions on amputation followed by homeopathy I would be happy to share our experience.

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

It is really great to see this post from you, I absolutely remember Miracle Marshall and you, he was a special pup for sure.
So glad to see that life is adjusting better for you and your family after your heartbreaking loss of Marshall, and that Doc is filling your lives with new adventures. No, he will never be like Marshall, but that's okay, he has still added that much needed joy back into your lives and that is what is important, the ability to move forward through the awful grief of loss.
Happy Birthday to sweet Doc, I am hoping for many, many years of adventures ahead for all of you, and always remember to keep your hearts open to the joys of having him in your lives.

Oh gosh! I can't tell you how excited we are to hear from you! We never, ever forget any of our family members, especially ones who jumped into our hearts like Marshall did! A d your love and devotion always came shining through with every word a d every actoin!!

You all made my day!!!! Thanks!!!! I would love to write about Marshall. The other link I tried to click but it didn't work. I'll try again. Today is Doc's birthday. I forgot to mention the other day, my daughter Eva is 2. She only knew Marshall for just under 4 months. She talks to Marshall all the time and says that he's her favorite dog 😳. She also loves Doc so much. She's an animal lover like the rest of us but it's so funny how she always mentions Marshall.

OMD!!! I love that Eva COMMUNICATES with Marshall!!! At her age, she has no "filters" or interference of how that's not possible. Eva is definitely still intune with the fact that she's pure Soul....pure energy And Marshall is pure energy snd pure Soul and Eva is able to feel his presence without questioning it or dismissing it!!
I think I even recall saying something like Marshall hanging in there long enough so he could "meet" the baby! So no, I don't think this is "odd" at all! I think he is DEFINITELY communicating through Eva to let you knkw he's around!!! Next fime she mentions him, ask her to tell him hi! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Your daughter talks to Marshall because Marshall wants you to know he is still with you. Kids just have a more open spirit to this and less filters like Sally said.

Thanks everyone!!!! Doc is such a sweet silly dog. He is the calmest lab I have ever seen but is as destructive as can be haha. He has a hobby of destroying trees and shrubs. It drives my husband crazy. I laugh. 😂 I have been thinking about getting a small dog again bc I miss Hallie but I'm trying to wait until Eva is in school.
George does 4h Woof club with Doc. Everyone loves the big goofball. They had been focusing on obedience but this past week they started learning Jr. Showmanship.
4hWOOF Club.....love that George and Doc do that together! Such a great bond and treasured furever memories in the making!
So Doc thinks he's a Master Gardener, heh? Now that's special! 🙂
I bet Marshall and Hallie allready habe a small dog picked out for you! Doc needs a pal!!

Sorry I was MIA. They actually did pick a small dog out for us. His name is Tucker. He's a black maltipoo. He was born 1/7/17. We got him on 3/7. He started to have seizures the following day. We haven't found a cause yet but he's been doing great. Doc and him are best buddies. Today is Marshall's 2 year anniversary.
