AWWWW shucks everyone!!! Thank you for remembering Jerry! My poor mommy has been sick in bed with a sinus infection and the anti-biotics have made her tummy feel bad. But today made her feel REALLY happy!!!
She bought me a Barney (wow - did she have to look everywhere!) as a special gift for today - that was Jerry's favorite, so it makes it extra special to me. Buddy (my brother) got one too.
It's a beautiful day today, so we'll go for a nice walk tonight and just be hoppy that we have made it this far. We had a clean check up last Friday - no lung mets and bloodwork was A-OK. We are truly blessed and feel that gratitude each and every day.
It's been a life changing journey with many hoppy moments and some sad as fellow tripawds have crossed the bridge. We have made so many special friends and feel so proud to be a part of Jerry's family here that he created.
My mommy cannot express how much love she feels for everyone here - thank you for hopping this journey with us - we would never have been able to make it without all the love and support we got from being a part of tripawds.
Hoppy Trails to everyone!
Never give up and always have faith.
Love

We're celebrating a one year ampuversary, too! I like seeing how many of us have made it! I had good bloodwork, but a funny looking spot on my x-ray. The vet couldn't replicate it after trying really hard, but I have to go back for more x-rays in a month just in case.... Mom thinks it can't be anything, since I'm a wild, wilid Westie still.
Here's to us celebrating another ampuversary next year!

Woohoo! Happy Ampuversary to you too! Crossed paws for your next set of x-rays. Each one who makes that one year mark is a shining star for those of us still below that mark.

Just an update about Mac...just in case any one out there was worried on his behalf. He had an awesome month waiting on the next set of "just in case" x-rays. Of course they could not repeat the strange finding. It was just a blimp on the x-ray film or something. He has made it 13 months since diagnosis and had been given a prognosis of 10-14 months. I think lots of long walks, organic food, and love/prayers/whatever from loved ones has made this last year one of the best years of his life. We are hoping to report to you all next year that he's still kicking along.
Thank goodness for this webiste and all the wonderful animal lovers in our lives!
