We are celebrating Lily's 26 month ampuversary today with some hamburger and lots of kisses and hugs!! It's so snowy and icy out that Lily has been pretty housebound. She hasn't chased a rabbit in a few weeks. Although she saw one last night in the yard-started to go, looked at the snow, then me, and decided not to run. Good choice, Lily!!
We are so, so grateful to our wonderful Tripawd family. What would we ever do without all of you.
Lily has another pseudo tripawd in the house-our sweet pittie, Remmy, tore her ACL last week, so she's hopping around on 3 legs also. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday Thank heavens for pet insurance!!!
Now, back to all the hugs, ear scratchies, and kisses...I even taught Lily to wink at me. (my husband and daughter just roll their eyes when I tell them), but I know she's winking
Thanks again for all you do to support this wonderful community,
Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Hoppy Ampuversary to our big, sweet, gorgeous inspawration! We are so grateful for YOU for sharing your journey with us!
I'm sorry to hear about Remmy! Ouch! Well you know that Lily will be good medicine, she's a smart girl and she'll show Remmy how to chill so the recuperation can go well. And I agree, going out in that snow is craaaaaazy. Stay warm and toasty!

Hoppy ampuversary, Lily! What a special day.
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Hoppy ampuversary, Lily! That's quite an accomplishment. Keep up the good work!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
LILY!!!! I love you so, sweet girl. You know that, don't you? Hours and hours of ear-scratchies and belly rubs to you!
Lisa and Angel Zeus
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...
