I am posting Tasha's ampuversary one day late, she has been out being the trucker dog. Tasha loves to go in the big rig so she had a hoppy ampuversary on the road! We met two different people that had three legged dogs, one to a birth defect and one to an accident. She had a great 13 month ampuversary from somehow sneaking out of the truck, down those stairs without getting hurt. We were eating breakfast when my husband looked out the window and there was Tasha sniffing and hopping around loving every second of it. She got extra pets from people we met. She of course got her ampuversary hamburger and ice cream cream! Yes she really had a great ampuversary!!!

Tasha is continuing to be a healthy happy active girl, we feel very blessed.

Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….

Woohoo Tasha!  It just makes me break out in a great big smile when I think of Tasha rolling down the road meeting all the folks along the way.  So happy to hear she's doing well.

Tasha,

Out on the road is an excellent way to spend an ampuversary. I know that I loved to ride with my Dad even though all he had was a pickup and 5th wheel. I agree with Karen that they should have brought you a plate of breakfast too. Actually, I know that Dad has often told the stories of my morning cereal for breakfast – Cheerios and Soy Milk. We are also glad that you are such a great ambassador for Tripawds. We must make sure that the message is spread far and wide, and we know that you are doing a great job at this.

We will be celebrating vicariously (even if a little late) because of this wonderful milestone. Hope to hear of many more such wonderful ampuversary celebrations.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Whoo hooo Tasha!! So awesome that you're celebrating your 13 month ampuversary!!  laughlaughlaugh Couldn't come at a better time to hear this great news.   Mackenzie's not too far behind you and will be celebrating her 1 year this weekend.  Here's to many many more ampuversaries, riding on the big rig, hamburgers and ice cream!! Way to go Tasha!!

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

Way to go Tasha!superstar  Ampuversary on the road and what can be better than a car ride? Riding in a big rig!!! I know Sadie would be incredibly jealous! I'm so glad you got extra pets, hamburger and ice cream WOW! Now I have that Grateful Dead song in my head

Truckin', up to Buffalo. Been thinkin', you got to mellow slow
Takes time, you pick a place to go, and just keep truckin' on.

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
