Happy, happy one month ampuversary to beautiful Bailey!!
It sounds like she is doing really well with the chemo--she is kicking cancer's butt!!
The food can be really tricky sometimes, and I'm glad you're going to check out the food info. So many people have lots of great ideas here; thank heavens we're all here for each other.
In the meantime, I know that you are enjoying every minute with that beautiful furbaby of yours. Lily and I send ear scratchies, hugs, and tummy rubs to Bailey
Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Hoppy one month ampuversary, Bailey! You are really on the way now. Tell your Mom to look up the recipe for Angel Roxy's peanut butter apple cake. That is the celebration staple at our house. It might also be something that tempts your appetite.

As far as being emotional goes, you are right there with the rest of us. It seems like March Madness has struck this forum, doesn't it? We are not dealing with the dreaded C at our house, but it seems that every morning lately, I have been sitting here and getting in my daily cry. All of our babies belong to all of us at times like this.
We are all here for Bailey. Now go give her a big hug and start baking that cake...and plan to be baking many more of them.
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
