Hi all,
Angel Abby's mom sent me her Tribute Ribbon for Abby to add to the Tripawds Tribute Leash which we will reveal at the upcoming Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk.
It came in a box, but it wasn't a really big ribbon- the box was full of surprises for the pugapalooza and me. Snacks for the pugs, a pink tiara for quad-pug Tani who is also fighting cancer... and mini-Maggie!!!!!!
I am so touched to receive such a beautiful gift, it was a complete surprise. Thank you Jackie.
Many of you came to Tripawds after Maggie left, I am grateful I still have this forum to keep her memory alive.
Here are a couple of pictures that Jackie took. Although it's hard to tell from these pics mini-Maggie is a tri-pug!
Oh, and the package arrived this past Monday March 26th- Maggie's birthday.

Awwwwwww! What a sweet, sweet gift and beautiful way to celebrate Maggie's birthday.

I'm so glad you like her! It's funny the timing of her arriving on Maggie's birthday. Maybe Angel Maggie had a paw in that!
And be sure to tell Tani that I said she doesn't have to wear the tiara if she doesn't like it - it was just to symbolize her warrior princess status!
🙂

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
OMD! This is an adorable gift! A Mini-Maggie
Maybe if Tani doesn't want to wear her tiara she can pack it for the Tripawd Pawty so we can all admire it.
Lots of hugs & wags

Karen,
How do you know the tiara was for Tani?? Methinks you should try it on for size yourself. (and post pics so we can tell if it fits.)
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
I [heart] the mini-Maggie. She's absolutely adorable!!!
I can't wait to see the completed ribbon tribute leash at the Morris Walk. I bet it's gonna be fabulous! And I'd better get mine in the mail, so that it can be there in time! It's done, but I just gotta get to the Post Office.
