I just fixed the link. You had an extra space after the ".com".

thx Jerry..I can't see so well!
The only thing I can say about Buster now is that after 3 weeks, he seems very depressed, just not himself. Not even as happy as he was with the terrible bone pain before surgery. And he's peeing in the house on daily basis though I'm here all day, usually not when I see it, so I'm thinking it's behavioral and him acting out when I'm "away" from him in another room. I don't think he has a bladder infection as I'm familiar with them from my other Pug but you never know. I'm going to give it a couple more days then have him checked.
If I take a shower and he's in the bathroom and the shower curtain is closed, he starts crying. Then I think he just can't see me. His sight is pretty bad, one eye is blind, and perhaps his hearing is gone as he startles easily too. It's worrisome, but hopefully time will take care of it. It must be puzzling for things to be different and not understand. I try not to reward him for his "sick" behavior and heap praise when he pees outside, etc.He knows he's done good because he wags his tail then. I try to be consistant.
Maybe he will never be the same clown he was but I love him all the same. Is anyone else going through this?

Hi Mr Buster...I'm sorry that you're not feeling so well. We haven't gone through any of this, but I would think that your doctor would have some answers for you. I would get in touch with him or her as soon as possible. I'm not even sure what type of advice to give you...we'll send good thoughts your way and look for an update.
Lots of doggie prayers and love,

Oh Mister Buster, I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling down. Your Mama is right, have the vet check you out for any weird things going on in your system. It could be something like that.
Recovery from a major operation takes time, be patient with yourself and with life, things will get better.
Your pal,
Jerry

Hi, thanks for the inquiry...Buster is doing much better...running around the house (it's easier than walking) eating like a pig, bright and very happy. We're having a lot of fun. Buster's phantom pains are much less frequent and his surgical wound looks excellent. No problems there.
His diet is all organic chicken and chicken livers, beef and salmon, with a little EVO kibble and canned for variety. He gets steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and squash..just a little. Mostly high protein and low carbs.
His suppliments before the diagnosis from a holistic vet include: Discus Comp, Plant Enzymes & Probiotics, Mobility 2, Glyo-flex, Omega 3's, DLPA.
Since the diagnosis: K9 Immunity and K9 Transfer Factors, Multi-vitamins (natural), Co-Enzyme Q-10,
Power Mushrooms and Hoxey Boneset. Not sure if I'll continue with the Q-10 until after chemo as it's unclear about using anti-oxidants with chemo. I'm going to call Dr. Messonnier's office today to clarify what he's written.I've been reading his book "Preventing and Treating Cancer in Dogs
". It's quite good and highly technical in chemistry, but that gives me confidence. What leaves me a little questioning is that on his website he's advertising his services as a speaker, which is fine, but then he says he does "Mentalism" which is a little woo-woo for me. That was a little disappointing, but I'll reserve my judgement at this point.
