Ty is our 13 year old chocolate lab who became a tripawd in July 2012. He started limping in April 2012. It was thought he had arthritis, anaplasmosis or CCL damage. Finally, he had an xray on 6/30/12 that found osteosarcoma in the femur of his right hindlimb. He was in a lot of pain, but he still had so much life in him. He had surgery on 7/13/12 - Ty was walking the evening of his surgery and running the next morning! He was able to do all the things he enjoyed again - hiking, taking long walks, eating, playing in the snow. He is starting to slow down a bit now. We consider every day with our amazing tripawd a gift!

Wow.  Ty is doing so well for a senior.

Karen and Spirit Magnum

Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/

Ty is a super hero and helps give encouragement to all the senior tripawd pawrents out there.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
