Haha it's a team effort to get the dogs to the vet, I love it! You are the best pack!
We are so happy to see all the dogs and of course Jara. Thank you for sharing their joy, because it really does make us so happy and shows others life can be good after a dog loses a leg. It shows they can still have fun with their friends and siblings too. Share away!
And we absolutely love seeing your pack so Happy. As we've said before, Jara is a true inspiration!!! Really!!
And trust is, yoir videos and photos make us all happy wen you share your happiness with this well loved pack😎 We adore them all!!!

good evening friends, we do not have very good news.
Jara has begun to limp on his hind leg, they have taken X-rays and they have seen that the cancer has spread to the leg, and also liver problems.
Oh no! I'm so so sorry. In the video I think I see what you mean, as far as how she is moving. Otherwise she looks so happy to just be outside and enjoying life!
Poor Jara! Cancer is mean! How is she doing otherwise? Is she eating and drinking OK?
Did the vets give you any pain medication for her? Is there any risk of fracture?
This is when you hold on to every moment together, and treasure the time. And her good attitude. Because no matter what the x-rays show, Jara is still her happy self and wants to keep doing what she loves most.
I know you will make the most of her time with all of you, just as you've been doing. Do a "Bucket List" with her, and maybe one thing every day that she loves doing. Beach trips! Swimming! Whatever she can do to enjoy her life without causing pain, and that will make all of you feel better about the situation.
I'm glad you were able to find out what's going on, just so sorry that it's this crappy news. Thank you for letting us know. ((((hugs))))
Even before I read your post, I quidkly looked at his video because I love all videos of Jara) and said to myself, "Oh good, Jara looks happy and looks like he's doing well'"
Then I went baxk at read uour post and, even though my heart sank a bit, I still see a Happy Jara who is not letting anything hold him back!! I had to look at it several time to see the limp. If you didn't know about it, it just looks like Jara joyfully running along, tail held high and wagging.
"Supposedly" osteo doesnt "usually" crossover to another leg. Obviously leave it to Jara to be an "exception to the"norm". As Jerry said, you can add some pain meds to continue to give Jara quality for more loving and spoiling AND videos!!!
I also want to add so sincerely, no dog could be more loved and no dog could be any happier, any more full of life and joy than Jara. You are giving her THE best life any dog could ever want. The saying, "It's not about the years in a life; it's about the life in the years. And Jara continues to make every day be full of life and joy!
We'll look forward to seeing more videos....especially of Jara eating steak and ice cream and maybe even some watermelon 😎

She spends a lot of time lying down, when she walks it hurts and she gets tired when standing up, she has to balance on 2 legs.
He doesn't eat very well, in the analysis he has liver problems.
She is on various pain medications she has tralieve every 6 hours.
Lumps have begun to appear on the body.
No one knows Jara better than you. I know you are watching over her carefully and will make sure she is comfortable and has quality as long as possible. And whenever the time for release does come (and we hope that's along ways away), Jara knows you love her enough to give her that gift if she can no longer be Jara.
Some things you can ask your Vet about to keep her comfortable and aybe feeling better, etc.
+ denamarin for liver support. It may be be helpful, may not, but certainly something to check out
+ Gabapentin rather than .tralieve (tramadol?). Current studies have shown Gabapentin to be more effective to relieve pain. Obviously not a Vet and not giving Vet advice, but do ask about switching,
+ Prednisone may help with any inflammation, but it also can increase appetite.
We love Jara and will con7 to always cheer her on and wish the very best for her. She is sooooo lucky to have you as human for her earth journey. I don't think any dog, other than Jara and all your dogs, could ever have so much fun and joy and love as you have given them.

It sounds like she is getting pain control, which is good. That is probably one reason why she is not wanting to eat a lot right now. Things that help with appetite can include warming her food a little, serving it on paper plates each time, and giving here new and unique things she hasn't eaten before. Any food you can get in her will keep her strength up enough to feel a little better and digest the pain medication.
I know you have a deep connection with Jara, and you are doing everything possible to make sure she is comfortable. She is so lucky to be so loved by her family. We love her too, long distance, and we are thinking of you during this very tough time.
The care you give Jara is so full of love1♥️ s
The connection you two have is a beautiful thing to watch.
"Okay Dad, I'm ready for you to help me jnto the pool! Okay Dad, I'm in the pool now so I'll look at you and tell you I'm ready for you to throw me the ball! Okay Dad, I'm ready for you to lift me up out of the pool so I can run around and dry off!!!
Honest to goodness, this sog does NOT look like he is having any health issues at all! Obviously you live with Jara day in and day out wo yiu know if she's not quite up to 100% All health issues aside, this dog is doing remarkably well for being on three legs this long!
Without question, the care you have given, and continue to give, makes a huge difference!💖

Can we bring our dogs and come stay at Camp Jara? What FUN!
Oh my dog what fun they are having! Look at Jara go! It's hard to believe that she is anything other than 100% healthy. We can all learn so much from her strength and happiness.
It's a beautiful thing to see how much you love your dogs! Thank you for sharing.
Good morning friends, today we have bad news, yesterday we had to put Jara to sleep, she was very ill.
I congratulate you for the website, I don't know what she would have done without your support and advice, YOU ARE ALL LOVELY.
Manuel, our hearts are broken into pieces, we are so sorry for this very sad news. Please accept our condolences, the entire community feels this great loss. It's hard to imagine she is an angel now.
Jara and you have become part of our family here, and we enjoyed getting to know you two and the rest of your dogs. I'm so sorry that the cancer acted so aggressively. She was such a young and vibrant dog. It's that beautiful, happy spirit of hers that we will always remember, and treasure the time we spent with you. I'm so glad you joined us, and shared your life with Tripawds. You have such a strong connection with all of your dogs, they are so lucky to have you looking out for them.
All of us send lots of love and hugs to you and your family. We are so sorry.
Saw this when you first posted and coud not pull myself together enough to respond. Too many tears. Have actually tried to come back a couple of times but jist could not find any words
We grieve for every tripawd family member who passes. We love them all. We share in the grief of the hoomans left behind.
Jara was exceptional in so many ways, as was the bond the two of you shared, Your devotion to her and commitment to make every day the best day ever was such a beautiful thing to watch from afar.
We all looked forward to every post of Jara because we knew we would see delightful video of Jara living the most fun life a dog could ever want. Jara ALWAYS made us smile, always! 😊 We applauded in amazement as we watched her swim and run and tussle with the siblings. Jara had the energy of a dozen puppies. Everyday was greeted with wonderment and excitement about the adventures that lay ahead.
I've watched the "album" you've put together from puppyhood to adulthood. Such an alert, adorable, bright-eyed doggy. Jara really knew how to post for the camera😎
What award did the ribbons represent.? Jara always won "First Place" in our hearts.
Wish we could adequately express what a true honor it is to get to know Jara. Jara will always be an example of a tripawd living her life to the fullest! Nothing, nothing, nothing held this dog back. I don't know of many four legged dogs who had her energy and zest for life. Yes, Jara is a legend arou d here as an example of what's possible. And the love and care you have her.?hjeling her in the pool....making sure she got her turn at "fetching" when she was s,owing down a ,ittle... making sure she had hep in and out of the pool if needed.....basically just being there for her in anuway she needed.
Clearly Jara was devoted to you with the same depth you were ro her. And she trusted you. She trusted you to release her when she could no longer be Jara. She knew you loved her enough to give her the gift of freedom so she could run free again.
We know your sadness is gut wrenching right now. The void, the break in routine of looking after he, playing with her, watching her do the zoomies....you miss her.
We can all promise you the Happy memories you two shared will eventually come to the forefront. You will smile again as you think about how happy she was every single day with you. And Jara will connect with you to let you know she is still by your side, just in energy form. Maube she'll come to you in a dream, maybe she'll send you a Rainbow. Pay attention, she'll send yoga sign.
We sincerely appreciate the privilege of getting to k ow this delightful bundle of energy. She was absolutely unstoppable and. let nothing hold her back. Her videos will cont to k spire and encourage all those just starting this journey.
When you can, please share more pictures and let us know how you and the rest of your pack are doing,
We are all better for knowing Jara and the bond you shared. 💖
Surrounding you with Jara's happy smile and eternal light
