Oscar had his surgery today and things went well. Not sure when he is coming home but I just want to thank everyone who posts. I have been reading up on as much as I can and this website has been so helpful in getting me through the difficult decision to amputate and prepared for what’s to come. I have been busy trying to get ready for Oscar to come home – although I am nervous about those first few days. I know it won’t be easy but I feel better knowing I have this amazing resource here with all its members to help me get through it.
